About Fragmatics

Fragmatics is a spin-out company from the University of Michigan developing bioinformatics tools for mass spectrometry-based proteomics. Established in 2025, Fragmatics builds on over 25 years of innovative research that produced widely-used bioinformatics tools and algorithms, including our flagship computational software MSFragger - the search engine behind the comprehensive computational proteomics platform FragPipe. Fragmatics was formed to accelerate the transformative impact these tools have on proteomics efforts in academia and industry. We are dedicated to partnering with commercial customers and collaborators to push the boundaries of what's possible in proteomics.
